The Morning After

It was a rare experience strolling on the banks of the 3 falls. It was a bright morning.
As early as 8.00 am the vicinity was full of tourist like us.

Everyone seem to be on the right mood

People of all races and creeds from far and near converged, 
enthralled by the awesome sight of the falls. 

And so were we.......

The Night Before

We check into The Oaks Hotel late evening on the 12th and the 13th floor respectively.

There lies below us the 3 falls blanketed by thick rising mists.

We were exhausted. Soon we were asleep, only to be awakened a couple of hours later by the light of dawn, a commanding sight of gold and amber colors on a light blue sky.

An astounding sight to behold..

Niagara Falls, God's gift to humankind.

 Soon we regained our strength, fulfilled our solat subuh and was ready for the new day.

THE MOTORHOME TRAVEL AWAY FROM HOME

Monday the 14th. We were ready for a 5D4N highway adventure on a motor home. 

Left all our heavy luggage at the Villa and chose to travel light.

The experience too new for Malaysian like us, but we were ready 'to rub it out' 

for the long journey enroute to Quebec.

A pax of 8 travelling in a motor home is as comfortable as in a luxury bus. More so there were lots of space for the children to move about.

CANADA EH!

It was early on a mid summer early morning June the 13th, we safely landed at Toronto Pearson Airport on Cathy Pacific CX724. The flight was long and tiring: KLIA/HONG KONG/TORONTO.
We were tired but excited. Everyone looking forward for a 10 days sojourn in Ontario and Quebec, Canada.

We checked into THE CARRAGE HILL RESORT - a Leasure Holiday Time Sharing Villas.
The twin units accommodation was as comfortable as home.

Earlier, we visited Toronto Muzium & Gallery.

The visit was sort of an induction on the country: it's people, history and culture.

4th April 2010 - Bangkok Bekons...

A simple birthday cake from Novotel Bangkok.

Bangkok have lots to offer - shoppings as well leasures.

Look at them. Having good times.

But one could not miss the presence of The 'Red Shirts', The Arm Forces, plying the streets. 

A clear signs of ongoing political uprisings, the lull before the big storm....

We left Bangkok for home at dust on the 7th April. 

The bloody 'onslaught' between The Police and The "Red Shirt'   Protesters 4 days later (11April2010) saw 21 deaths and 800 wounded.
